چکیده
Background: Low-field MRI (LF-MRI) is a useful Imaging technique for the diagnosis and in follow-up of high-impact rheumatologic pathology 1 . However, use not widespread due to high cost other techniques such as Musculoskeletal sonography 2 The Rheumatology Unit HUVM owns (ECO /MRI) standardized protocol LF-MRI 3 , which performed by rheumatologist applied routine clinical practice. We describe patterns general rheumatologists their Objectives: Perform an analysis department assessment joint inflammatory activity. Correlate results analyses patients without or with unclear diagnosis. Methods: Retrospective using medical records referred from January June 2018. main variables collected were reason referral well previous final after LR-MRI. An evaluation on usefulness made twelve months later establish Results: global population studied 114 LF-MRI. 81 females (71%). 80% diagnostic 40% Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA), 24% Psoriatic (PAs), 16% rheumatic diseases, remaining 20% most frequent reasons were: 1) A total (female male) was activity prior change treatment 2) subclinical optimized treatment. 23 (16 female; 7 male), differential diagnosis: arthralgias, 6 suspected psoriatic arthritis, undiagnosed inflammation, diagnosis, juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA), tendinitis. Low-Field Cardiac Magnetic Resonance Imaging
Cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR) is arguably unmatched in its ability to evaluate cardiovascular structure and function, to characterize myocardial tissue by a wide variety of mechanisms, and to quantitatively assess blood flow and perfusion without the use of radiation or the need for invasive catheterization. CMR research and development continues at a rapid pace both in academia and by comme...
متن کاملMagnetic resonance imaging of feline eye
The purpose of this study was to investigate magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of the normal feline eyeand optic nerves using T1-weighted and T2-weighted images. A total of 6 healthy female domestic short haircats age 2-2.5 years and weighing 3.2 ± 0.4 kg were selected. Magnetic resonance imaging data werecollected using GEMSOW (Philips) at a magnetic field strength of 1.5 T. Dorsal, sagittal, a...
متن کاملQuality Assessment in Apples Using Low Field Magnetic Resonance Imaging
Quality assessment in apples often requires the application of non destructive methods for detecting symptoms that are not visible externally. Various techniques such as NMR, MRI, Xray CT and time-resolved reflectance spectroscopy have been used to analyze the internal quality of fruits [1,2,3]. We report preliminary results showing that low field MRI has a potential for the internal quality in...
